Payments / Currency

Account balances due by the 20th of the month following the date of your Tax Invoice. All payments are to be made in New Zealand Dollars. The Purchaser will be held liable for any additional costs incurred collecting late/overdue payments. Up to 10% of the invoice total may apply as late payment fees. These fees will be added to your account. 


Online "Cash Sale" orders within New Zealand will be packed and dispatched once full payment has been received.

All online purchases are generated as an "Order" only, which allows Howard Material Handling Ltd to alter at our discretion. Upon completion of a order (or part order) for collection or dispatch a final "Tax Invoice" will be generated and emailed through our MYOB accounting system to the account email address provided.


All quotes provided will be valid for 28 days and are subject to stock availability at the time of order. 

Special, International or Indent orders are quoted based on the current conversion rates and may be subject to change upon arriving in New Zealand. 



Orders placed via our website may be cancelled and a credit or refund supplied prior to the order been dispatched. If your order has been dispatched we reserve the right to charge a handling/restocking fee and any labour or freight costs that may of been incurred by the company. Cancelling an order after it has been confirmed online and payment or an order number has been received will be at our discretion.


Delivery Information

Products in stock under 25kgs or 0.25 metric cube are generally dispatched within 1-3 days of receiving payment via NZ Couriers within New Zealand or Mainfreight for International deliveries..

Heavy items/orders over 25kgs are generally dispatched within 2-4 days of receiving payment via Mainfreight within New Zealand.

Howard Material Handling Ltd is not liable for any costs for goods lost, damaged, returned or late deliveries. In this case we may be able to assist lodging a claim with the relevant freight company.

Tracking details can be provided on request if required. 

The products listed on our website and stocked in-store are intended for the New Zealand market. Due to NZ Customs requirements we are unable to export some products. If you are a international client please contact us prior to placing an order online.

Freight Forwarding

If you have a preferred transport/courier company and would like to arrange collection of your order please ensure your carrier is aware of our collection times which are Monday - Friday between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Some delays may occur if collection is attempted outside of these hours without prior approval from Howard Material Handling. It is the customers responsibility to supply any documentation required and to contact your transport/courier company to arrange collection.

Product Returns

Any credit requests must be submitted within 10 days of your order been dispatched. Credits requested for orders returned will be subject to approval at our discretion. Products must be returned in the original packaging in the same condition supplied complete with all relevant information and manufacturer certificates. If the product has been used or the packaging damaged your credit request may be declined. Credits approved may exclude freight and/or handling fees. To avoid any delays processing your credit please be sure to complete our 'Credit Request' form online before returning your order.

Please be aware that any product that has been manufactured, cut to length or in any other way modified will not be accepted for credits. 

Your credit request will not be processed for approval until we have received your returned order at "Howard Material Handling" and one of our team has signed off as being received with no exceptions.

Any product/s supplied by HMH must not be used in a way for which it was not designed, this includes exceeding the working load limit of the product, the manufacturer/supplier conditions of use and warranty will apply. Any product failure must be returned immediately with a report covering use at time of failure and prior use. If the product is found to be at fault then a replacement or refund will apply, any additional costs will not be covered.

Manufacturer or International supplier time-frames and deliveries are beyond our control. Howard Material Handling can not be held liable for delays in delivery or any costs incurred due to a delayed delivery.

Product weights and dimensions listed online are approximate only and are for shipping or estimate purposes only. If accurate product weight and dimensions are required please contact us prior to placing your order.
