The approved code of practice for load lifting and rigging requires equipment to be recorded, along with the relevant details such as a unique identification number, lifting capacity, the last inspection date and the next inspection due date.

All products are inspected to ensure they comply with the relevant current standards. Products are then tagged with item identification, lifting capacity, inspection date and next inspection due date. This makes it easy for people to see the lifting equipment they are using is safe and compliant.
